Stat pilot project completed for the Los Angeles Mayor's Office
Elroi Consulting has completed its contract with the City of Los Angeles, assisting Mayor Jim Hahn's office with the LA Stat pilot project. The nation's second largest city is implementing government performance management and accountability program that is based on centralized data and GIS analysis. Our focus was the development of meaningful and powerful GIS analysis and presentation techniques, explanation of these techniques to the mayor and his staff, and their description in a comprehensive procedures manual.
New GIS web site now on-line at City of Los Angeles, Planning Department

Consulting has recently finished assisting the Deparment of City Planning,
City of Los Angeles, to upgrade itw GIS web site from ActiveX technology
to ArcIMS (zimas.lacity.org).
The new site serves up around 1,000,000 parcels with associated attributes
from an Oracle SDE grodatabase. For maximum browser compatibility, the
site uses a JavaScript client and ASP back-end. High-end annotations are
enabled via an ArcMap Server.
