General GIS Topics

I have written, presented, and taught over two dozen articles, papers, and seminars on GIS, to audiences ranging from high school students to county employees, exploration geologists, and top executives. I have also made numerous marketing presentations in eight countries around the world. I can research, prepare, and present on most topics in GIS and related subjects.

ArcInfo

I have taught numerous ArcInfo users basic and advanced topics in ArcInfo, AML, and INFO, both on the job and to paying clients in a class room environment. My specialty is customizing the topics and materials to the users' specific needs and level of knowledge.

Having used ArcView since its inception, and having created and presented numerous demonstrations of the software and its extensions, I am able to teach most ArcView topics to suit the needs of specific users.

GIS in the Mining Industry

I have specialized in the applications of GIS in the mining industry since 1991. I have made many presentations specific to this industry, as well as wrote and presented most of a two day GIS seminar at a major mining conference.
